Im a biological psychology student and this app is helping me greatly!! I always had to magnify on and on in safari when I was reading wikipedia but now its soooo easy to read, simple user interface and nice design too!!! Also I love the fact that u can open and search multiple things just like safari!!! Pictures are also well visible, u double click and its automatically full screened!!!! Words are nicely layed out!! GET THIS APP (this is very first time me actually writing a review, I have been buying almost 200apps and THIS IS THE FIRST TIME WRITING REVIEW becuz its gonna be so helpful for the rest of my university life!!!
Now crashes almost as much as the New York Times app. Goodbye.
It does what it needs to and it does it well. I love reading on this app. One of the best apps Ive ever bought, and well worth the money. Highly recommended.
But is still a really great app. It is fast and user friendly. Fix the crashing problem and you get 6 out of 5 stars.
Have used and enjoyed this app for over a year and for the most part it works quite well. The light box offers a clear view of any image and the articles usually look clean and are quick and easy to navigate. A recent problem Ive noticed is that many information tables now appear broken. They now take up the entire top of the article and the information itself looks like a mess. Please fix this problem.
Used to be a great app. This update is not compatible on older ipod touch.
Ive used this app since it came out years ago and have always loved it. Stable and responsive on iPhone 5
One of my favorite Wikipedia apps.
Would be much better with iOS7 swipe navigation. And unfortunately, the new app icon is really appalling. Pls consider reverting back to the prev one.
Basically, the only thing updated is iOS 7 and an uglier icon/logo. This will not be on my home screen. Why am I using this instead of Safari again? Oh yeah, I dont.
Better than others I tried. Use it often. Fast and easy.
I really like this app, its one of the best Wikipedia refers on the App Store! It would be cool if there was an open in feature so you could get a Wikipedia article from the web to the app. Thanks for making really enjoyable apps!
みやすい表示で類似アプリのなかでは一番だと思います。 Random表示のon/off,モバイル版Wikipediaのような折りたたみの表示があれば嬉しいと思います。
ランダム表示をOFFに出来ない 表示が変な感じ
No more words.
Design is pretty good. Awesome. But it frequently crashes!!
Articles has been around for a while and it shows... Development and updates has all but stopped it seems. Suggestions to the developer (translation issues) remains unfixed and the possibility to load tabs in the background (like in Safari, a feature I use a lot!) seems to be of no interest. All in all, it feels like there is no motivation to develop and improve this app. It is still a pretty useful app and has the potential to become much better but if I would find a slightly more modern Wiki-app, Id swutch in a heartbeat.
・Want a default language (if there isnt an article of that, use second or more) ・"Helvetica" font will be better in Japanese. (too thin to read)
Very useful to keep Wikipedia documents organised for your needs...
